Brother: Harold Glaman (born: March 26, 1922; died: february 6, 2010); Harolds’ funeral was on February 14, the date his brother Robert died. Harold was a veteran of WWII, worked as ‘lineman’ in Northwestern Telephone, and was a volunteer of the Polo Fire Department.

Fiancé: Miss Faith Cahoon; after the war, June 11, 1946, she married Robert’s brother Harold.  I met Faith on the farm of Lyn Tindal in Illinois during the summer of 2011. Faith told me she had made her wedding ring out of the engagement rings of both brothers Glaman. Proudly she showed the ring to everybody. Robert was always very important in her Glaman family she assured me.

Verloofde:  Faith Cahoon; na de oorlog, 6 juni 1946, trouwde ze met Robert’s broer Glaman. Ik heb Faith in de zomer van 2011 ontmoet op de boerderij van Lyn Tyndal in Illinois. Faith vertelde toen dat ze van de verlovingsringen van de broers Glaman de trouwring heeft laten maken. Zeer trots showde deze ring aan iedereen. Robert is altijd belangrijk gebleven binnen het gezin Glaman, verzekerde Faith me.
